First Time College Students
New Student Counseling is required for all first time college students at PCC.
We offer a self-paced, online counseling process through your PCC email. After you submit the intake form, a counselor will review your response and follow-up with you by email.
Fill out this intake form so we can learn about your academic goals, major, and any college credits you already have.
When you complete the intake form, we will:
- Create your first semester educational plan
- Make sure your classes are aid-eligible
- Connect you with a counselor
- Guide you on what to do next to register

Short Term Students
If you are attending PCC for a few classes for personal interest, grad school prep, or while attending another college/university, you do not need to meet with a counselor. Instead, follow the steps for short term students to complete your LancerPoint Achievements.

Previous College Students
If you are new student with credits from another college, connect with a counselor through:

If you would like to take a class that has a prerequisite, and you have completed the prerequisite at another college, submit an online Prerequisite Clearance Request to attach your transcripts for clearance.
