Pasadena City College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), 428 J Street, Suite 400, Sacramento, CA 95814, (415) 506-0234, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

Questions or concerns about Pasadena City College’s compliance with the standards expected of an accredited institution  may be submitted directly to our accreditor per the ACCJC Complaint Process.

Pasadena City College is fully accredited by ACCJC through 2028. The college is currently preparing for its next reaccreditation review, with our Institutional Self-Evaluation Report due in 2027.

Current Evaluation Cycle

Pasadena City College is preparing for its next reaccreditation review in 2027–2028. In 2024, the Commission updated its Accreditation Standards, and PCC will use these revised standards to prepare its next Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER), due in August 2027. These standards cover the core areas of accreditation: institutional mission, continuous improvement, and how we evaluate student learning and effectiveness.
