You are a first-time college student if you are starting college for the first time after high school, and you want to earn a PCC degree or transfer to a four-year school.

By completing this form, you will learn about:

  • Academic goals
  • General Education (GE)
  • Full-time vs. part-time enrollment
  • Class planning

If you are not a first-time college student, you do not need to complete this form. Please refer to our New Student Directory to find your next steps.

What to Expect:

  • This form has 5 sections and takes about 20-30 minutes to review and complete.
  • Your answer will help your counselor develop your first semester educational plan.
  • Please complete all sections carefully. Missing information may delay your plan.
  • For the best experience, use a desktop or laptop.

Before you start, please have the following ready:

  1. Your Lancer/PCC ID#
  2. Your PCC student email address (LancerPointUserName@go.pasadena.edu) (See How to Setup Your PCC email for help!)
  3. Completion of the online orientation 
  4. Any of the following (if applicable):
    • Unofficial college transcripts
    • Dual/concurrent enrollment records
    • AP/IB exam scores

After you submit:

  • You will get a "received" confirmation email. This form is part of PCC's email support ticketing system.
  • Your counselor will email your educational plan to your PCC email within 10 business days (or longer during busy periods).
  • You can reply to that email with any follow-up questions.
