On October 9, 2019, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Pasadena City College Campus Police received an anonymous report of suspicious activity through our Lancer Anonymous Tip Reporting web page, also known as "LA.T.R." (https://pasadena.edu/police-and-college-safety/latr.php) The anonymous report stated that on Tuesday, October 8, at approximately 12:30 p.m., 2 female students were approached by an unknown female soliciting assistance from the females, and encouraging them to come to her residence. The females declined the invitation. The interaction took place off-campus at a fast food restaurant on Colorado Blvd. across from the PCC Main Campus. The reporting party believed that the motives of the female soliciting assistance were suspicious and potentially motivated by criminal intent. The subject was described as a female, White or Armenian, in her late 40's, 5', thin build, blonde hair. Pasadena City College Campus Police would like to remind students to be aware of your surroundings at all times, on and off-campus. Do not engage in unsolicited contact with persons you do not know. Trust your instinct, if something does not feel right, or you feel unsafe, call police for assistance.
On Tuesday, January 01, 2019, PCCPD discovered that several rooms were burglarized in the C-building on the main campus. Review of video surveillance revealed that on Monday, December 31, 2018 at approximately 0000 hours, the suspect and subject pictured above were seen together north of the Cbuilding. At approximately 00 15 hours, the male suspect leaves the area and is seen again walking north towards the south entrance of the C-building. The suspect is not seen again until approximately 0 I 50 hours, exiting the C-building from the east entrance carrying multiple bags. The suspect is observed leaving campus, last seen traveling east on Colorado Boulevard on foot.
On 08/23/18 at approximately 6:58 pm, two vehicle burglaries occurred on PCC main campus lot 4 level 1. Suspect #1 broke the windows of two vehicles and stole several items. The suspects drove away eastbound on Del Mar Blvd in the vehicle shown above. Please contact PCC dispatch if you observe a vehicle matching the suspects' vehicle on or near the campus.
Date and Time: Wednesday, September 27, 2017 between 3:15 PM and 4:30 PM. Location: Parking lot 5 level 2 on the main campus of Pasadena City College. Reported Offense: A male subject approached a female who was seated in her vehicle in parking lot 5 level 2. The subject pressed himself against the driver’s side window as he yelled sexual obscenities at the female occupant. The subject made hand gestures of a sexual nature in the direction of the female occupant. The subject prevented the female from moving her vehicle by blocking it with his body as he yelled threats of bodily harm at her. The subject left the area when the female occupant contacted Police by telephone.
Date and Time: Saturday, October 28, 2017 between 9:20 & 10:00 AM Location: Pasadena City College Library 3rd Floor Reported Offense: Victim was approached by a male Hispanic while seated in the third floor of the library. The male exposed his genitals to the female and then walked away. Suspect Description: Male Hispanic, brown complexion, 6’05” in height, stocky build (230lbs), short black hair, brown eyes. On the date of the incident the suspect was wearing a dark colored t-shirt, tan colored shorts, and dark colored Nike tennis shoes.
Date and Time: Monday, September 18, 2017 between 8:00 & 10:00 AM. Location: Multiple locations on main campus of Pasadena City College. Reported Offense: While riding a bicycle at different locations on the main campus, the suspect rides near victims and grabs their buttock area with his hand. Please report any similar incidents to Campus Police at the below listed phone number. Suspect Description: Light skinned male, 25 years old, wearing a white baseball cap, black t-shirt and blue jeans. Suspect Vehicle Description: Black bicycle with red rims and handlebars.
Date and Time Reported: August 31, 2017, at 11:50 a.m Date and Time of Incident: August 29, 2017, at approximately 4:00 p.m Location: Parking Lot #4 located at Hill and Del Mar Reported Offense: Reporting party was approached by a male Hispanic while walking to her vehicle. The male exposed himself to the female and attempted to grab her breast. Suspect description: Male Hispanic, early 20’s, short black hair, wearing a black t-shirt, with a white circular emblem on the back, and black or dark colored shorts
Campus Police have seen an increase in bicycle thefts on campus. Always make sure your bike is locked while on campus. Be aware - Cable locks are easily defeated. Campus Police strongly recommend utilizing a metal U-shaped lock to secure your bicycle on campus. Please report any suspicious activity near the bike racks to campus police (626) 585-7484.
On 05-11-17 at approximately 1430 hours the suspect stole a black Trek FX 1 bicycle from the bicycle racks located on the South side of the D-Building. The suspect cut the cable lock the victim used to secure the bicycle to the bicycle rack with an unknown tool.
The FBI and the Pasadena, California, Police Department are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man who is believed to be responsible for an explosion that occurred at The Cheesecake Factory on February 2, 2017.
