On October 9, 2019, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Pasadena City College Campus Police received an anonymous report of suspicious activity through our Lancer Anonymous Tip Reporting web page, also known as "LA.T.R." (https://pasadena.edu/police-and-college-safety/latr.php)
The anonymous report stated that on Tuesday, October 8, at approximately 12:30 p.m., 2 female students were approached by an unknown female soliciting assistance from the females, and encouraging them to come to her residence. The females declined the invitation. The interaction took place off-campus at a fast food restaurant on Colorado Blvd. across from the PCC Main Campus. The reporting party believed that the motives of the female soliciting assistance were suspicious and potentially motivated by criminal intent.
The subject was described as a female, White or Armenian, in her late 40's, 5', thin build, blonde hair. Pasadena City College Campus Police would like to remind students to be aware of your surroundings at all times, on and off campus. Do not engage in unsolicited contact with persons you do not know. Trust your instinct, if something does not feel right, or you feel unsafe, call police for assistance.
Off campus - Call 9-1-1
On campus - Call Campus Police at (626) 585-7484, or from any of the Emergency Blue phones located throughout campus.
