The Intercultural Engagement Center’s mission is to provide intentional and multi-faceted cultural engagement opportunities to foster personal growth, empowerment, and interconnectedness between members of the PCC community.
We envision a campus culture and climate that is abundant in joy and kindness, marked by curiosity and openness, and promotes personal, interpersonal, and intergenerational social-emotional and cultural awareness, growth, and healing.
The Intercultural Engagement Center (formerly known as the Cross Cultural Center) hosts a Collective comprised of students, faculty, and staff who intentionally collaborate with departments and divisions to curate programming that supports the center's mission and vision. As an arm of the division of Institutional Equity, Diversity, and Justice, we also provide original trainings, workshops, and cultural programming and events that promote conversations and skills around concepts of social justice, identity, and culture.
