Our program will prepare you with the skills to find work as an entry level Advanced Pharmacy Technician. 

Typical employment requirements of an Advanced Level Pharmacy Technician include:

• Working under the direction of Pharmacist to produce sterile and compound medication for administration to patients.
• Creating IV Infusions in a clean room using aseptic technique.
• Verifying the accuracy of patient and prescription information.
• Ability to accurately perform calculations involving ratios, proportions and percentages required to fill prescriptions of prepare sterile or compounded medications.
• Performing inventory audits and maintenance of medications in accordance with USP 797 and 800 standards.
