Application Period

  • February 18 - June 10: Admission to the program will begin with the first course in the SUMMER intersession
  • June 18 - October 10: Admission to the program will begin with the first course in the WINTER intersession

How to Apply

Requirements for Admission:

ALL applicants are required to have the following:

  1. 18 years of age or older.
  2. Completion of High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  3. Proof of valid California Pharmacy Technician License, or transcripts showing successful completion of any of the following is required for enrollment in the second course of the program (PHRM 200- Pharmacologic Agents- Specialized medications):
    • Completion of an educational training program and passing the PTCB or possession of an ExCPT Certificate
    • Apprenticeship in a Pharmacy and then passing the PTCB or possession of an ExCPT Certificate
    • Prior military experience as documented on the DD214 showing evidence of Pharmacy Technician Training
  4. Enrollment is determined by the applicant pool and the selection process is by lottery while adhering to all Federal and State Laws.
