The Student Activity Fee was voted upon by the Associated Students Board in 2009 with the goal of enriching the student experience at Pasadena City College.
It provides funds for over 70 plus programs throughout the campus including but not limited to:

- Associated Students events and activities.
- Cultural experiences via the Cross-Cultural Center.
- Free leadership workshops via the Cardinal & Gold program.
- Homecoming events.
- PCC’s athletics teams (including travel and competition admission fees).
- PCC’s band program.
- PCC’s main commencement ceremony and additional cultural graduation events.
- Student clubs and their events.
- The Child Development Center - for students who are also parents.
The Student Activity fee also helps fund the U-Pass transit program which provides low-cost or free buss passes to assist with students’ transportation needs.
