NextUp provides community college students with resources that make a difference. The program offers eligible current and former foster youth support and services that include help with books and supplies, transportation, tutoring, food and more.
Our STARS program is designed to assist former foster youth to transition successfully from care to college. We strive to support and empower young people in achieving academic success, and a measure of self-sufficiency.
NextUp
The NextUp program is a supplemental program to EOP&S and provides additional counseling and financial assistance to current and former foster youth. Eligible students receive extra “over and above” services.
STARS
The Pasadena City College STARS program supports the educational goals of current and former foster care students. Our goal is to empower and motivate individuals to reach their full potential.
