Math Courses

Our Math department offers different courses to meet you educational goals. Explore the math pathways, SLAM or STEM Courses to choose the path that’s right for you.

When taking Math Classes at PCC, you will follow the STEM courses or the SLAM courses. 

Choose the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) courses if you plan to major in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

Choose the SLAM (Statistics and Liberal Arts Math) sequence if you are not a STEM major and don't plan on taking calculus. In the SLAM courses, the highest level of math you will take is Statistics or Liberal Arts Math.
