If you are waitlisted for a course or trying to add a course after the first day of the semester, you will have to add the course using an add code.


Instructions

How to Register with an Add Code

Once you receive an Add Code, login to LancerPoint to register for the course.

  1. Login to LancerPoint
  2. Click on Add/Drop Classes
  3. Select the current registration term
  4. You may need to complete a pre-registration survey. Click on the link to complete the survey (there are no wrong answers). 
  5. On the next screen, enter the 5-digit CRN code(s) of your selected into the boxes provided at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Click Submit Changes
  7. You will be prompted for an Add Authorization Code, which the instructor provides if they have space in the class. This code is 6 characters - a mix of numbers and capital letters - and will only work after the 1st class meeting. For asynchronous classes, add codes will work beginning the first day of the term.

  8. You should now be registered for the class(es). To check if you have successfully registered for your classes, go back and click on View /Print Class Schedule. The classes you have successfully registered for will be listed here.

Frequently Asked Questions

PCC does not drop you from your classes for non-payment at the time of registration.

  • You can drop your classes with a refund. If you choose to do so, check what that deadline is by visiting the schedule of classes and clicking on the CRN of the course you would like to drop. Look for the Critical Dates for this Course and the Last day to drop with a refund
  • After the Last Day to Drop with a Refund, you are financially responsible for your registered classes. If classes are not paid by then, there will be a hold on your account, preventing you from registering for future terms at PCC.

Yes! However, the longer you wait, the harder it will be to find open classes. Once again – register for your classes as soon as you can!

Once classes begin, you will not be able to register online through LancerPoint. You will need to obtain an Add Code from the instructor of the course you wish to add if there is still space. 


Registration times are randomly generated. You and your friends will probably have different registration times.
