In compliance with 34 CFR §106.45(b)(10)(i)(D) issued by the U.S. Department of Education to amend the regulations implementing Title IX of the Educational Amendments Act of 1972, Pasadena City College has made publicly available the minimum training materials used to train the College’s Title IX Coordinator, investigators, decision-makers and other personnel involved in administering the Policy for Complying with the Title IX Regulations/Title IX Final Rule Regarding Formal Complaints of Sexual Harassment.

Pasadena City College Title IX Personnel, and any person designated by the District to facilitate a part of the informal or formal Title IX resolution process, will have training prior to participating in the administration of the Policy for Complying with the Title IX Regulations/Title IX Final Rule. Personnel or designees will be trained regarding Formal Complaints of Sexual Harassment through in-person or online virtual training programs.

The following Training Certifications and the materials used to train the Title IX Coordinator, Investigator Manager who is responsible for administering Pasadena City College’s Title IX and Sexual Harassment Policies: 

• ATIXA Title IX Coordinator and Administrator Training Level 1
• ATIXA Title IX Coordinator and Administrator Training Level 2
• ATIXA Civil Rights Investigator Training Level 1

These materials are proprietary of ATIXA and are licensed to the licensee only, for its use. This license permits the licensee to use the materials personally and/or internally to the licensee’s organization for training purposes, only. These materials may be used to train Title IX personnel, and thus are subject to 34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10), requiring all training materials to be posted publicly on a website. No public display, sharing, or publication of these materials by a licensee/purchaser is permitted by ATIXA.
