APIDA Student Advisory
The APIDA Student Advisory, formerly the APIDA Advisory Assembly (AAA), advocates for your needs to ensure Pasadena City College provides a safe and enriching environment. AAA draws from the strengths and experiences of student advisors to support the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) community. PCC’s location at the heart of the San Gabriel Valley makes it a bustling educational hub for the local APIDA community pursuing higher education, and personal or professional growth.

APIDA Graduation
The Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Graduation is a celebration honoring the achievements of our graduating APIDA students at PCC. Our goal is to build a stronger community among our APIDA students and honor the hard work, perseverance, and dedication they have demonstrated at PCC.
Join the APIDA Graduation Committee
APIDA Graduation is held in the first week of June to celebrate our students’ achievements CAPE and Institutional Equity, Diversity and Justice-APIDA Initiatives are beginning to plan the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA). We are recruiting committee members to ensure these events are culturally relevant, engaging, and an authentic nod to students’ identities and accomplishments.
By joining the committee, you will be part of a wonderful group of leaders who will have input in everything from content and structure to the look, feel, and style of the celebration. We will need support with sourcing vendors, artists and speakers, communication, and publicity plans, and more.
Committee obligation is roughly around 1-2 hours a week, with a meeting every two weeks starting in November until May where we will meet weekly, and the time-on-tasks will ramp up. The structure for committee work will depend on the celebration and our community's needs.
