Thursday, May 4

12 - 1 pm: Artist in Residence Performance

• Westerbeck Recital Hall

• Jazz trio performance by Guest Artist Larry Koonse and PCC faculty Brian Carmody and Zac Matthews.

1 - 2 pm: Interview and Q & A with Larry Koonse

• Westerbeck Recital Hall

• Mr. Koonse will be interviewed by PCC faculty, followed by q & a from the audience.

5 - 7 pm: Master Rhythm Clinic

• Westerbeck Recital Hall

• Mr. Koonse will present a clinic on rhythmic techniques for all musicians.

Friday, May 5

11 am - 1 pm: Master Class with the PCC Jazz Combo

• Westerbeck Recital Hall
• Jazz Combos will perform for Mr. Koonse and receive feedback on their performances.

2 - 4 pm: Jazz Improvisation Clinic

• Westerbeck Recital Hall

• Mr. Koonse will offer techniques for practicing and performing as a jazz improviser.

8 pm: Larry Koonse in Concert featuring Chuck Manning, tenor sax, Darek Oles, bass, Jason Harnell, drums

• Westerbeck Recital Hall
• This is a free event, but tickets are required. Tickets will be available at the Center for the Arts Box Office beginning at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 5. Tickets are limited to two per person.

• Purchase $2.00 parking permit from parking lot vending machine.
