Southern California Conferences for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR)

This year's SCCUR Conference will be hosted by Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday, November 18, 2017. SCCUR is a one-day conference where students present their scholarly work either in 15-minute seminar presentations chaired by faculty moderators (with 3 minutes for Q & A and two minutes to transition to the next talk) or in poster sessions. Students apply to present their work by submitting a proposal in the form of a brief abstract, limited to 300 words. Abstracts are reviewed by faculty from appropriate disciplines at participating institutions and accepted, returned for revision, or declined. Undergraduate students who wish to present their faculty-mentored research or scholarly/creative activity at SCCUR must complete the abstract submission by early October 2017.
