There is a tactile feel to his artist’s hand, akin to the effect of Charles Burchfield’s work yet entirely his own. We sense his drawing acumen and relish his assertive and yet fanciful line quality. The works bridge painting and drawing and offer a rich example of a well-crafted window into a mysterious and magical world.
