Charmayne Mills-Ealy is the Director of Operations of STEAM:CODERS, a non-profit organization geared towards introducing kids to computer science. She is also a Former Assistant United States Trustee of the Central District of California and has called the San Gabriel Valley home for the last 23 years.

She is a self-proclaimed do-er, builder, and philanthropist that wants to help young people “find careers and make a good living.” As a true lover of the sciences, Charmayne is proud of the technical education PCC provides, calling PCC a “valuable asset.”

Nancy Lan is a former research scientist of Cal Tech (where her husband has been a professor for 40 years).  She is an author or co-author of many research publications, and a passionate volunteer of the USC Pacific Asia Museum. Nancy is a seasoned traveler but has called the San Gabriel Valley home for many years and enjoys the culture and cultural opportunities it brings.

Nancy is motivated by being able to contribute to the community and being able to make a difference. Her favorite thing is to work with students because they keep (her) young."

Stephanie Lam is the current Vice President of Asset Management for Kam Sang Company, Inc. In her free time she is very passionate about practicing yoga and has received her yoga teaching certification as well. As a native of Pasadena, she is proud to call it home and wants to start giving back to the community that has made her who she is today.

She currently sits on the board of the Lam Family Foundation and is excited to be a new member of PCC Foundation’s board. Stephanie has a special tie to Pasadena City College because her mother attended the college when she first arrived to the states.  Stephanie will be Chair of the Foundation’s Audit Committee.

Glenn Bowie is a motivated, self-starter that prides himself in giving back and making a difference in the lives of other people. Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Glenn made his way out west to create the life of his dreams. In his free time, he enjoys attending sporting events, reading, and spending time with his family.

With a “burning desire” to help young adults, Glenn wants to serve as a mentor to help students dream big, set goals, and most importantly believe in themselves. Glenn is an open-minded, energized, and humble individual with a motto of, “Attitude is everything. Life is what you make it.”

Mark Harmsen is a born and raised Pasadena native who has a passion for politics and volunteering. Mark is a Pasadena City College alumnus who completed his education at San Diego State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

He is not a stranger to philanthropy. Mark has given 40 years of service with no plans to stop any time soon. His goal is to “try to create opportunities for today’s and future generations.”  PCC holds a special place in his heart, not only because he attended but also because it was so good to him and it is an  “incredible treasure to have in the community.”
