Eligibility to Receive Services
Any student with a verified disability who wishes to seek services in LARS is eligible. LARS is a voluntary program that students choose to utilize at the college. Although LARS is not required, applying and usingLARS accommodations may increase your ability to be successful in your classes.
Verifying Documentation
To be eligible for services, you must have recent verifying documentation. This could be:
- An Individual Education Program (IEP)
- Section 504 Plan
- Assessment reports from your Regional Center or Department of Rehabilitation
- A letter on letterhead from a physician or medical specialist, psychiatrist, psychologist, speech-language pathologist, or an audiologist or an audiogram
