Black Heritage…Black History…Black Lives…Black Minds…still matter… 

And so as we move into this month of February and beyond…PCC carries with it a new banner…a new message…one that centers Black identity and culture in places and spaces where race is neutralized and racial politics are silenced and ignored…this message…aims to remove negative connotations possessed with entities associated with Blackness…this message is transparent about both the love and support for a totally self-determined Black People…and finally, this message is a reflection of the sense of community and collective responsibility that PCC must begin to manifest towards the embracing of blackness in full.  And that message is: Pasadena City College UNAPOLOTGETICALLY BLACK.
