Black Transfer Success
The Transfer Bound Program focuses on the values and benefits of preparing Black students to transfer from the community college to a four-year university.
Transfer Bound is open to all PCC students, but is specifically geared toward the successful enrollment and support of the Black student population.

How We Can Help
Transfer Advisement
Get paired and guided by one of our transfer advisors to take the steps toward preparing and applying for transfer to a four year university!
Transfer Counseling
Work with a transfer counselor to ensure all prerequisites, education plans, courses, and further academic related steps are completed!
Transfer Mentorship
Get paired with a transfer mentor to encourage and assist you in understanding the transition, resources available to you, as well as the student experience.
Workshops & Events
Transfer Bound students are required to attend workshops and events to enhance the cultural and transfer-going culture you will experience in our program.
Signature Events & Partnerships
HBCU, UC, USC Connection
Transfer Bound introduces students to cross-system college activities and programs such as HBCU Tours, the CCC HBCU Agreement, HBCU Caravan, UCLA CCCP Program, and ADT for CSU transfer!
On the Yard
An initiative geared toward Black students on campus to establish a personal connection, community and support between Black students and PCC Staff!
Black Grad
A culturally rich celebration created for Black students, by Black students, to recognize their achievements and contributions within our campus community!
Black College Expo
Each year we bring our students to the Black College Expo where they can meet HBCU, Private, CC, UC, CSU and other college representatives and attend workshops!
