The Construction Trades Readiness Program is a year-long, tuition-free, hands-on training program that helps you get ready for jobs in the construction and building trades. You’ll learn the skills needed to start a career in construction jobs — no experience needed!

Additional Information
This fall, two in-person classes will be available at the Community Education Center (CEC):
- Evening Class: Starting August 28, every Thursday from 5:15 PM to 9:45 PM
- Morning Class: Starting August 30, every Saturday from 8:30 AM to 2:55 PM
These classes offer hands-on learning and expert instruction to help you build a strong foundation in the construction trades.
- BLDN 2300 – Introduction to Construction Safety and Health for the Building Trades (Fall Semester)
- BLDN 2301 – Introduction to the Building Trades and Construction Industry (Fall Semester)
- BLDN 2305 – Basic Construction Skills for the Building Trades and Construction Industry (Spring Semester)
