Fees & Tuition

Students taking PCC classes while in high school MUST APPLY ONLINE.

  • The CA state legislature has raised community college enrollment to $26 per unit effective fall 2009.
  • This fee applies to students who previously registered for the fall term before the fee increase on 7/29, as well as new registrations.
  • Students who add/drop class will see the charge for the additional $6 per unit for previously registered classes added to the final amount due for the add/drop transaction.
  • Students who have previously received a Board of Governers Fee Waiver will be fully covered and no further action is needed.
  • Financial Aid and Fee Waivers are still available in Financial Aid for students needing financial assistance to pay the increased fee.
  • Previously registered courses will not be dropped and students will be notified by the college regarding the collection of the remaining fees.

Note: All parking fees are subject to change. All parking on campus is by permit only, 7 days a week. The purchase of a semester or intersession permit does not guarantee you a parking space. Restrictions apply to CEC permits - see below.

NOTE: RETURNED CHECKS OR CREDIT CARD CHARGES -- A ten dollar ($10.00) charge is assessed for each check or credit card charge returned to the college unpaid for any reason. A stop-payment order does not constitute an official withdrawal nor does it relieve the student's financial obligation for registration. Failure to immediately replace a returned check or disallowed credit card charge with cash or money order will result in a financial hold which will block access to all college services.

Fee Payment

Pay Online

You must pay your fees within three (3) days of registering or your classes will be dropped. Students who register online or by telephone may use a credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover) to complete their online registration transaction. Students may pay in-person at the Cashier by check, money order or cash within three days of registering. NOTE: You can go back to pay fees at lancerlink.pasadena.edu after registering. Select the semester and then Fee Inquiry/Payment button.

Financial Aid

The computer will adjust your fees according to any financial aid granted to you. You must reapply for financial aid even if you had it in the Spring semester.

LancerCard ID

To get your photo LancerCard ID, go to Photo ID located in the Campus Center (CC building) after you register.

Petitioned Course Repeats

For a petitioned course repeat, you may not register for the class online or by telephone. Bring your approved petition to the Registration office during the walk-in registration period.

Parking Permits

Daily parking permits may be purchased from dispensers in the student parking lots. Semester and intersession parking permits can be purchased online or in person.
