You will need:
- A current Student or Staff LancerCard ID
- Last 8 numbers on the LancerCard ID
- A valid Credit or Debit Card
- Valid e-mail address
- A $ 3.75 surcharge will apply
Your permit will be sent by mail to the address you supplied.
You may print a 5 day temporary pass at the end of the online transaction, to display on your dashboard until the actual permit arrives.
If you have any problems, call the 800 number provided at the Credentials site, or contact the Policy and Safety office in the T building or 411 Trolley.
Purchase Tickets on Campus
You will need:
- A current Student or Staff LancerCard ID Must be presented- No Exceptions -
- Exact Cash, Check or Credit Card
Students go to the 411 Trolley located in the Quad
Employees go to Campus Police Located in the T-building.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday
CEC permits may be purchased online, or in-person at the CEC Registration office.
NOTE: Students who previously ordered a parking permit through the Web Registration System can pick up their permit on campus, from the 411 Trolley located in the quad.
To pick up your permit you will need:
- A print out of your enrollment receipt for proof of payment
- Student LancerCard ID
Parking Policies
Enforcement
The Vehicle Code laws of the State of California, the Ordinances of the Los Angeles County and the parking regulations of the Pasadena Area Community College District are
in effect 24 hours, 7 days a week including holidays
and enforced by Pasadena City College Police and Safety Services pursuant to the section 21113 (a) of the California Vehicle Code. All parking and traffic regulations are enforced through citations issued by the Pasadena City College. Pasadena Area Community College District reserves the right to restrict the use of any parking stall, area, structures, or lot at any time.
Daily Parking
- All students and visitors are required to have and display a valid Pasadena City College parking permit to park a motor vehicle in the student/general parking lots.
- One day parking permits are available from the parking permit machines located in every parking lot.
- Dispensers accept coins or $1 bills.
- Daily parking permits are to be displayed on the dashboard, with the permit date and time facing the front windshield.
- Visitors coming for the one a month flea market event, are also required to purchase a daily parking permit.
- Any vehicle displaying a lost/stolen, forged/altered permit is subject to a fine and maybe booted or towed at the owner's expense. Violators may be arrested and prosecuted.
Motorcycle Parking
Motorcycle permit is good for an entire
semester or intersession, day or evening. Motorcycles can only park in special motorcycle parking spaces located on the first level of Lots 4 and 5.

NOTE: CEC Parking Permits NOT valid for parking on the PCC campus.
Handicapped Parking
Handicap parking areas are strictly enforced every day, 24 hours, 7 days per week. A vehicle shall not be parked or occupy a parking space that is designated as a handicap parking space unless that vehicle displays a handicap placard, or a handicap license plate issued by the DMV, and a current daily or semester parking permit. A person shall not use such a plate or placard for the purpose of parking unless the person is disabled, or the driver of a vehicle in which a disabled person is a passenger. Misuse of placard may result in, but are not limited to, the confiscation, citation, removal of the vehicle, and or arrest. Misuse of placard is describe in section 4461(C) of the California Vehicle Code and is classified as a misdemeanor.

Students with a valid Disabled Person placard may park
in any student or staff lot, however a valid PCC parking permit is needed (see regular fees above).
Staff
All faculty and staff members are required to have and display a valid Pasadena City College staff parking permit. Staff parking permits are valid only in the staff parking lots.
General Parking Policies
- For the first three weeks of the semester, plan to arrive at the campus
at least one hour prior to the start of your class.
- All parking on campus is by permit only, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Parking permits must be clearly visible either on your dashboard (passenger side) or hanging from your rearview mirror.
- Park only in STUDENT PARKING designated lots.
- Park your car within the painted lines.
- You may purchase your Parking Permit online at anytime (see above) or in-person at
the 411 Trolley in the Quad by presenting your printed enrollment fee receipt and your student LancerCard ID.
- PCC semester permits are valid for parking at the Community Education
Center. Alternately, PCC students may purchase a CEC semester permit (for
a slightly lower cost--see fee list above), park at the CEC
and travel to PCC on the free shuttle.
- CEC semester permits are NOT valid for parking on the main
PCC campus.
- Refunds for Parking Permits are processed at the 411 Trolley in the Quad.
- THE COLLEGE OVERSELLS SEMESTER AND INTERSESSION PERMITS. The purchase
of a semester permit does not guarantee you a parking space.The college
is not responsible for lost or stolen permits.
- LOCK YOUR CAR.
- Lost permits are replaced at the original purchase price.
- PARKING TICKETS can be paid at the Police Station (map), or online at www.paymycite.com.
- Handicapped Parking - Students with valid handicap parking placards
may park in any student or staff parking lot with a valid PCC permit. Marked
stalls can be found in lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. For more information,
contact the Disabled Students Program, Room D209.
- Car alarms are required to be deactivated in the structures due to excessive noise (21113(a) 830). Vehicles found with activating alarms may receive a parking citation.
- Immediately report the theft of a Pasadena City College parking permit to the Police and Safety Services. A police report will be taken and the parking permit ID number will be placed in the stolen parking permit database. The individual may purchase a replacement permit from the Student Business Service (Student Bank).
- Motor vehicles shall not be parked/stopped:
- Overnight on campus (except by special permission granted by Pasadena City College Police and Safety Services;
- In a space painted with multiple diagonal markings;
- In www.paymycite.com;
- Along curbs that are painted red or are painted to restrict zones, exclusive of loading passenger zones, which must be used for the purposes intended.
Towing and Booting
Pursuant to California Vehicle Code Section 22651.7 C.V.C.,
- a vehicle may be impounded when it is found parked on campus and has (5) five or more outstanding parking violations.
- Once the vehicle has been impounded or towed, it will not be released until all outstanding parking violations, have been paid in full.
- All impound and storage costs associated with the impound will be responsibility of the vehicle owner.
- Under California Vehicle code Section 22651 O. (1) C.V.C., vehicle may also be booted or impounded if found parked on campus with an expired California vehicle registration.
Liability
Pasadena City College District shall not be liable under any circumstances for the loss or damage caused to any vehicle parked on any District properties.
