Academic Departments

We offer degree programs and certificate programs in four areas of study. Our courses may be taken individually or as part of a planned program leading to a Certificate of Achievement, Occupational Skills Certificate, and/or an Associate degree. No matter your goal, we have an option for you!

English

Core reading, writing, and literature courses. Degree and transfer programs in composition, reading, literature, and creative writing.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Five levels of ESL, each with reading, writing, listening and speaking classes

Foreign Languages

Twelve different foreign language programs, each offering studies in language and culture.

Linguistics

AA degree and courses in the three major branches of linguistics — general, applied, and theoretical linguistics.
