In addition to our wide variety of academic classes, we offer a variety of special programs to engage and support specific educational needs.
High School Concurrent Enrollment
Interested high school students wishing to take PCC course(s) may do so at the Rosemead site. After applying online to PCC, you can submit all completed necessary paperwork to the Rosemead site, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. You must be present with a valid photo id.
First Year Learning Community
In partnership with First Year Experience (FYE) the Rosemead site offers a "First-Year Learning Community". This program is designed to assist first-year students with a smooth transition to college and prepare for a successful academic program. In addition to offering the College 1 course, you can meet with a Success Coach to help you learn about campus resources and services.
Student Advisory Committee
The purpose of this group is to provide a forum for your student voice to be heard and to ensure regular communication between the Rosemead Director and enrolled students. As a student, you are welcomed to bring forth concerns, issues, and needs. Interested students MUST be enrolled at the Rosemead site.
Informational Workshops
The Rosemead site offers a variety of workshops throughout the semester on information and resources that support student's academic progress. Workshops are facilitated by appropriate PCC departments, staff, faculty and/or community members. Topics may include, but are not limited to degree completion, transferring to a university, understanding Financial Aid, career planning, time management, and other academic support topics.
