On Wednesday, October 10, poet Luivette Resto will be speaking in The Circadian as part of the 2018 Visiting Writer series. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, Resto's poems engage themes of romantic love and cultural identity. She has written two books of poetry, Unfinished Portrait and Ascension, and her latest work can be read in the anthologies Lullaby of Teeth and ¬°Manteca!. Resto will speak from 7 to 9 p.m. and admission is free.
