Submitting Course Action Plans
Before starting, make sure you are aware that Action Plans are submitted by course, not section. If more than one instructor assessed the course last semester, be sure to have everyone participate in creating the Action Plan Responses! (See the bottom of this page if you want to download and print out SLO data for discussion.)
- Go to https://elumen.pasadena.edu/
- Make sure your role has been set to "Course Coordinator"
- Click on the outstanding Action Plan symbol
- Fill in your responses to the Action Plan Questions
- Have assessment results from the previous semester motivated changes to how the course will be taught (content, pedagogy, sequence, etc.)? If so, please describe any changes and the motivation for each change.
- Have assessment results from the previous semester motivated changes to how any of your learning outcomes will be assessed (assignments, wording of SLO, rubrics, etc.)? If so, please describe any changes and the motivation for each change.
- Use the "Add Resource Request" option to document any resources needed to implement your action plan.

- Students are having problems holding their breath, we believe this may be both lack of practice, but also because they are having trouble seeing the purpose of holding their breath when classes are not held underwater. Doing more practice in a pool would be helpful to reinforce this connection.
