1.   Follow up from summer – concerns about eliminating the SLE Committee from the Hiring Committee selection process
a.   Unanimous decision to contact Senate president to request a public conversation about how to ensure that a Center that is focused on our most marginalized students has the broadest possible representation in the selection of its new coordinator. Kathy will craft letter and cc committee. 
2.   Transgender student advocacy and need for educational awareness
a.   sexual harassment training needs to include LGBTQ situations and considerations
b.   when is EEO training being offered? Concerns about new changes to training
c.    need for adding pronouns to syllabi/ student introductions each semester, awareness week, etc. but in addition, need for more widespread, systemic changes at PCC to address needs of transgender students
 
3.   LGBTQ Advisory Committee
a.   President’s advisory committee; no specific news, just that it’s being organized
4.   Committee seats
a.   Unanimous vote to open to 6 seats
