"Community colleges are vitally important because they serve the diverse needs of the community, from those who may be attending the institution as a stepping stone to four-year colleges to those seeking to hone a technical skill or simply for life-long learning.

So, we have a unique challenge in that we need to rekindle that positive, emotional memory, the connection alumni had with PCC, the connection to their beginnings in order to foster a sense of gratitude and obligation to give back to PCC and the community."
