How to Apply

The application process includes the following steps:

  1. Ask your current or former Math Instructor for an ASA tutor application form.
  2. Bring your completed application to the Math Success Center in R-406.
  3. Take the ASA exam in the MSC.
  4. Make an appointment for an interview session with the MSC Staff.
  5. If hired, submit the “Authorization to Work” form to Human Resources (HR) in C-204.

After you complete the above steps, it takes at least three weeks for HR to conduct a background check. You will not be able to start working in the MSC until HR authorizes you to work.
