Anna AsatourianSpring 2016 Recipient
Anna Asatourian has been working as an English tutor for the Learning Assistance Center since fall 2015. During this time, Anna has provided exceptional service to a diverse group of students.

In addition to tutoring at the LAC, Anna is a health and fitness aficionado. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exercising, and reading.

Ms. Asatourian graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Currently, she is on the track to pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Her goal is to better understand the causes of “lifestyle diseases," and to educate others about the importance of living a balanced life.

Anna has had the opportunity to be a mentor and tutor to many students throughout her life. In the past, she has worked with kindergartners, the Los Angeles TeamWorks Project, and high school ESL students. She firmly believes that teaching is one of the most noble and rewarding professions.
