Tutoring

Tutoring is available to all PASS participants FREE of charge.  Priority is given to offering tutoring in Math and English courses, particularly at the basic skills level.  After that, tutors are hired on an as-needed basis in available subjects.  Tutoring is available in one-on-one format and in group settings.  Study labs are also provided.

Fall 2009 Semester PASS Study Labs:

Wednesdays, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., Room R-115

Fridays, 1:00-5:00 p.m., Room R-102

Math 400 series
Math 125, 131, 5A-C, 8, 9
Political Science 1, 2, 6
Biology 11, 1A, 1B, 1C
Chemistry 1A, 1B, 1C
Anthropology 1, 2
Anatomy 25
Physics 1A, 31A, 31B
Psychology 1, 2 5, 21, 22, 24, 25, 29
Philosophy 25

If you have a strong academic record in a particular subject and would like to be hired as a PASS tutor, please contact our office to pick up an application.  A comprehensive tutor training is required and provided at no expense to the applicant.
