About Accountability Reporting for the Community Colleges (ARCC) (Formerly PFE)

What is ARCC? Accountability Reporting for the Community Colleges(ARCC) is a mutual commitment by the State of California and the Community Colleges (CCC) system to improve student performance on seven indicators. ARCC replaces the Partnership for Excellence (PFE). The seven indicators and a definition for each are found on the Planning and Research website. The ARCC Steering Committee will be focusing on funding projects in three primary areas:

  • Student success in basic skills or pre-collegiate courses.
  • Student success in career and technical courses.
  • Expanded student advisement.
