News: PCC Orchestra To Perform Halloween Concert Oct. 30

The Pasadena City College Orchestra will be performing a Halloween concert in Sexson Auditorium on Oct. 30 at 8 p.m.

Titled “Sesame Street Halloween,” the show will feature music and characters from the PBS children’s series. The Count, as played by former PCC student Chance Wilkerson, will be on hand to count the number of musical instruments in the orchestra and provide insights into the musical compositions performed. The orchestra will also be premiering a new composition by PCC alumni Jason Turbin to commemorate his mother Tina Turbin’s new children’s book.

The event is open to the public. General admission is $5; $3 for staff and students. All costumed characters will be admitted free. Prizes will also be awarded to children with the best costumes.
