News: PCC To Offer Academic Study In Oxford Spring 2010

Pasadena City College will be providing students and the community with an opportunity to study abroad in Oxford, England this spring semester, from March 3 to May 20.

Oxford, a world-renowned center of learning since the 13th century, is home tp more than 40 colleges, and is filled with a rich and exciting cultural, artistic, and intellectual history. Professors Ellen Shockro of the Social Sciences Division and Krista Walter of the English Division will be accompanying students on their abroad. Class offerings include History 5B: “History of Great Britain Since 1750,” Humanities 3: “Humanities and the Social Sciences,” English 9: “Creative Nonfiction,” English 61: “Introduction to the Novel,” and English 25A: “Interpreting Modern Literature.” All credits are CSU and UC transferable.
