Management Information Services manages the central administrative technology
services, electronic services, and telecommunications services for the
district.
Examples of these services are those for admissions, registration, class
rosters, grades, fiscal (accounting), purchasing, fixed assets, human
resources, student financial aid, networks, and telephones.
MIS contains two major sections and one subordinate department: Systems
and Programming: Creates, enhances and supports programmed systems to
meet the information needs of the District; Central Support: Supports
the day-to-day production needs for the District; Electronic Services:
Supports the audio/visual and telecomunications needs of the District
(Includes: telephone, wide area links and networks, and local area networks).
