    Noncredit classes or programs that are in the following categories: general studies, technology, business, classes for adults/older adults, Foster Care, Parent Education, comprehensive High School Diploma Program (HSDP) and a GED Preparation Program, Cosmetology, and support services for credit and noncredit students.

  • MESA - assists educationally disadvantaged students attain degrees in math, engineering and science from four-year institutions

  • Scholars Program - program offers high-achieving students strong academic preparation and curriculum planning to help them succeed in their major and achieve a B.A./B.S. degree after transfer.
  • Teaching & Learning Communities helping under-prepared, first-generation college students move successfully from basic skills to transfer and career/technical education courses.
  • Telecourse - College by Television
  • Transfer Programs
  • Ujima - a one-year transfer program that focuses on African American/black cultural issues
 
  • Fast Track - a program designed for students to begin attending Pasadena City College while still in high school.
  • Off-campus Credit Classes @ Area High Schools - classes are open to regularly enrolled PCC students as well as to those high school students who qualify.
  • Upward Bound - designed to encourage students from low income families and whose parents did not graduate from a four-year college to develop the skills and motivation necessary for success in college and beyond.
  • .XL - designed to help students make a smooth and successful transition from high school to college.
