Pacific Community Credit Union 3rd Annual Scholarship Awards


Pacific Community Credit Union is committed to education. That is why they have created a pair of Scholarship Awards to reward their outstanding student members. This scholarship is open to high school seniors planning on attending an accredited university, college or trade school, as well as students who are on track to successfully complete their first year of higher education. Every year, two applicants will be selected and each will receive an award of $750 to be used toward tuition, books, student fees or other qualified expenses.



Eligibility Requirements:


Student must be a current Pacific Community Credit Union member

A minimum GPA of at least 2.5 is required for consideration

Employees, volunteers and immediate family of employees and volunteers are not eligible

Student must be a high school senior or finishing their first year of higher education at a university, college or trade school

Verification of enrollment in an accredited college, university or trade school for Fall 2010 is necessary before award can be granted


To Apply, Students Must Submit:

An application form

A copy of their most recent academic transcript

A list of extracurricular activities and honors

An outline of community involvement

A brief 1-2 page essay, short video or other piece of artwork on the topic specified in the application form

A letter of recommendation

Applications are available at the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (L-114)
