District Master Plan

Acrobat PDF document logoDistrict Master Plan 2010 (PDF)

In 1990, a ten-year master plan with an associated investment target of $100 million was developed to address several of the most pressing campus deficiencies identified at the time. That plan has now been effectively implemented, resulting in the construction of a modern library facility, a new gym and track facility, an Aquatic Center, a Community Education Center, a Child Development Center, a Facilities Services building, a 2000-space parking structure, and multiple building/classroom refurbishments. Over the 1990-2000 decade, the College continued to grow, facilities continued to age, and educational and training needs changed as market and transfer requirements changed.

After several years of study by the Facilities Master Plan Committee, assisted by the architectural firm of A.C. Martin, the college has adopted this second phase of the master plan—called Master Plan 2010—which will complete the renovation of the campus. This new ten year master plan has been developed to meet the current and projected needs of the 2000-2010 decade.
