Counseling Program

Academic and Personal Counseling |
|
 |
 |
Lead by a director of athletic counseling
and graduate school interns, zone staff advises student-athletes
regarding their academic and personal well being.
Each team is assigned a counselor who provides counseling
on academic planning, majors, degree programs, transferability,
3C2A//NCAA eligibility, career development, and overall
life issues. |
Counselors explain to student-athletes PCC academic
services and procedures, monitoring the completion of
general education requirements, checking progress toward
an A.A./A.S. degree, and/or helping with transferring
to a four year college.
In addition, our counselors help students comply with
3C2A, NCAA, NAIA, and Pasadena City College regulations.
Students may see counselors by appointment or during
general drop-in hours. |
